The life of a bear…

September 28, 2007

Bear formI started this blog because over the past months (okay, really it’s been years!) World of Warcraft has become a pretty big part of my life. I know, i know, some people say I play the game far too much, but it makes me very happy, I love it, I’m pretty good at it, and I play with my boyfriend (who’s also my best friend) so we get to spend a lot of time together while in the game.

I have many rants to go on about the game, as well as many more praises to ramble on about. But mostly I just wanted to represent all the druid tanks out there! My character, Hidaylia, is a level 70 night elf druid, on the Feathermoon server. She is specced feral, with all tanking bonuses taken into consideration. Tanking is what I’ve come to love, and I do it as often as I can (right now in Karazhan, sometimes in Gruul’s Lair, and hopefully soon in Serpentshrine Cavern!)

Keep watching for more ramblings (as well as advice and info I’ve gathered around the web) on being a bear Tank Girl :)

  1. Rock on! I went from a healing hybrid spec pre-BC to full-on feral for the 60-70 level grind and haven’t looked back. I love being a bear tank! I actually get to watch the fights instead of playing whack-a-mole with green bars.
So far, my favorite fight is Al’ar. I swear the in-game music should be the theme from the Benny Hill show with all the running and jumping they make us bears do in that encounter.
Looking forward to reading your blog, my Nelf sista!

  2. Very cool, I can’t wait to read more. I totally agree about those spirit shards…. I hope that in the upcoming months they increase the utility of those.

But from what I’m reading it looks like Badges are getting the love instead :(
